THE GOODS CANNABIS CO.
Window Display
The Goods was looking for a re-vamped design for their front window. The storefront has two large windows, and my clients wanted to emphasize their over 60 5-star reviews. Since this is a new store, having opened in the fall of 2022, I wanted to bring the color and excitement of the store to potential new customers. The store often relies on foot traffic from the nearby Davis Square, one of the most popular areas in Somerville, MA. Therefore, having an eye-catching window display was important to the owners.
Using the brand guide provided to me, I created these three 18x24” signs featuring quotes from Google reviews. I also designed an illustrati0n of the storefront for the owners to use as they please. This illustration emphasizes the friendly and casual atmosphere of the Goods using soft edges and gentle details.
To make the window display stand out even more, I hand-cut and outlined paper stars to drive home that the Goods is a five-star dispensary. The sides were flanked with pedestals to create depth and showcase the merchandise the they sell inside the store. Although working around CCC guidelines, such as the inability to display product in this front window or show the inside of the store, can be very difficult, it is a good challenge for a designer. It forces us to be creative while working within specific parameters.
The Goods Illustrations
Although these illustrations were initially used to promote the Goods’ 4/20 campaign, I created this vector illustration pack for them to use on whatever marketing materials they saw fit in the future as well. I provided my client with 3 color schemes, vector AI files, and PNGs of each individual object.
As an extra add-on, I also provided my client with a repeatable pattern that they could use for whatever they needed it for.
Bud Bar Cards
The Goods retail store features a Bud Bar, which allows guests to view and smell the flower that the store carries. They requested product info cards for the display that could be easily edited for new strains.
